“The I AM Presence: The Personal Presence of God Like the Kabbalists of old, the ascended masters[175] have drawn a diagram that illustrates our divine nature and our relationship to God and the sefirot. This diagram is called the Chart of Your Divine Self. The ascended masters also refer to it as the Tree of Life.”
“The upper figure in the chart represents your I AM Presence. The I AM Presence corresponds to the Father-Mother God. The I AM Presence is the Presence of God individualized for each one of us. It is your personalized I AM THAT I AM. I AM THAT I AM is the name God revealed to Moses at Mount Sinai when he called to him out of the midst of the burning bush. In Kabbalah, I AM THAT I AM (Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh) is the name of God associated with Keter. So you can think of Keter (Crown) as corresponding to your I AM Presence. What about Ein Sof, the “divine nothingness,” the indescribable “Cause above all causes”? Ein Sof is hidden as the Sun behind the sun of the I AM Presence. That is why Kabbalists call Ein Sof the unmanifest and why the Zohar says “no trace may be found, nor can thought by any means or method reach it.”
“Our I AM Presence is thus the closest and most personal Presence of God we can know while we are yet in our mortal body. Only when our soul has become one with Keter and I AM THAT I AM and has returned to the cosmos of pure Spirit will she be called to enter Ein Sof, the indescribable and unknowable God—the Supreme Source. The light of I AM THAT I AM and Keter is a transforming light. Mark Prophet, my late husband and teacher, said that when the LORD told Moses, “Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me and live,” that meant: “No man can see God and still live as man.” If he survives the experience, he will be God in manifestation. Such is the power of the light of I AM THAT I AM and Keter. We may not yet be ready to stand in that Presence of God, but by reconnecting with the sefirot, by daily walking and talking with God, we are getting ready.”
“Before we can receive the light of Keter we must assimilate the essence of the nine lower sefirot. We can accomplish this under the tutelage of the ascended masters, who initiate us through the ten stages of the sefirot from the root of Malkhut/Shekhinah to the crown of Keter. The soul’s assimilation of the light of the sefirot may take numerous incarnations, perhaps with karmic digressions along the way. But, as Jesus said, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life [Keter], which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
