The Substance of Creation is created in 5 steps. (Parzufim)
the 5 Worlds of Kabbalah (levels of perception/levels of spiritual desires)
Adam Kadmon ("Primordial Man") is considered a preliminary stage or root level above the four worlds. It represents the first and highest spiritual world - the initial divine plan and blueprint for all of creation. While the four worlds (Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzirah, and Assiah) represent different levels of manifestation and concealment of divine light, Adam Kadmon exists in a state preceding these divisions.
It is included here because it helps explain the complete structure of spiritual reality in Kabbalah. Though some systems focus only on the four worlds of manifestation, including Adam Kadmon gives us insight into the primordial source from which the other worlds emerge. It represents the first contraction of infinite divine light into a form that could eventually manifest as the structured four worlds below it.
In Adam Kadmon, all the sefirot exist in their most unified, undifferentiated state before they separate into distinct attributes in the lower worlds. This makes it a crucial concept for understanding how divine unity becomes expressed through multiplicity.
